WHAT IS MICRODERMABRASION?
Essentially, microdermabrasion is "sand blasting" of the skin using aluminum oxide crystals, vitamin C crystals and other mild abrasives to remove the dead layers on the top of the derma (skin). Sun-damaged skin is just one of the many conditions this facial improves. Other reasons to have this treatment include; blotchy skin, small scars, wrinkles, keratoses, large pores, whiteheads, un-even textures, or simply if you want a fresh and soft face! The neck, chest and back can also be treated. By removing the top layers of skin, you instantly look rejuvenated! Pores are unclogged, aging spots are lightened and wrinkles eventually are reduced.
MICRODERMABRASION EXPERIENCE
The microdermabrasion experience is much different from a European Facial. There is no mask, scrub or cleanser applied to the face. The sand blasting is immediately started at the beginning of your treatment. The process is completed three times over the face to ensure that the layers are removed evenly. When treatment is completed, your Lifetime Laser technician will apply a Squaline oil to rebalance and moisturize the skin. The immediate feeling is that of a windburn; however, the skin has a beautiful glow that last for days. Even better, the effects of the treatment seem to keep coming as the new layers of the skin continue to improve overall.
